What is this data network?
Mate collects information through its own mobile application available on Apple's App Store, a Google Chrome browser extension, and from direct relationships with merchants through pixel tags and custom JavaScript that synchronizes merchant information with Mate's proprietary user information. Millions of shoppers have opted in to receive communications and campaigns.
What information does Mate collect?
Mate provides a complete description of collected information through its posted privacy policy. In summary, Mate collects personal contact information such as names and email addresses, metadata such as IP address and browser or mobile device information, and behavioral information such as the merchant visited and types of pages visited.
